Abstract

There were eight local fried chickens in Special Disrict of Yogyakarta. It makes a question about what factors cause successful and unsuccessful local fried chicken. Then, a consumer survey that sought the level of customer satisfaction was done using a questionnaire. The survey involved 242 respondents that had eaten the local fried chicken. The result shows that the easiness of the outlet to be reached by the consumer and the products price that is competitive are the main factors to lead the local fried chicken to be successful in the market place.

Abstract

Slopes mine is an important part of a mining activity. Slopes mine, slope stability can cause problems such as landslides and disrupting mining operations. The study was conducted to obtain the slope geometry that is safe and stable. Hypotheses that the slope is stable with the value of the safety factor of 1.5 (Sostrodarsono, Suyono). Single slope stability analysis is done for each material making up the slope in the form of sandstone, mudstone, and coal at 100% Saturated as well as the overall slope value (FK) 1,5. The simulation of single slope or in whole, the simulation is done by changing the height and angle of the slope in order to obtain the value of the safety factor (FK) which is safe and stable. This study uses Hoek and Bray and methods Bishop on total water saturated conditions. Single slope stability analysis results obtained by their eighth single slopes with FK values <1.5 is on the C4 West above, C4 lower west, D2 East Upper, D2 East under, and D2 West below and 3 overall slope C4 West, East D2, D2 West. Based on the analysis, simulation single slope and slope overall is for single slope with high-level geometry of 8-11 meters with a slope angle 50o and for the overall slope, slope C4 West with a height of 60 meters and a slope angle 29o, D2 East with a high slope 70 meter and the angle of 26o, the slope D2 West with 86 meters height and the angle of 25o. Application of slope geometry simulation results can reduce the potential of landslides on the slopes of the mine with FK above the reference value of 1.5.

Abstract

Ceiling suspension stand is a method of x-ray tube placement on a stationary x- ray apparatus by hanging on the ceiling of the examination room and can be moved horizontally or vertically using a rail as a track. Simulating the movement of Automatic Ceiling Suspension for Stationary X-ray Equipment was made to produce an automatic movement of the ceiling suspension system used on stationary x-ray apparatus. Simula- tions created will facilitate x-ray equipment operator when setting the position of the x-ray tube during the examination. Simulations using a dc motor as the prime mover which is divided into horizontal and vertical movement. The movement of the motor is controlled by a microcontroller as a command center in the simulation. The movement generated by the simulation in the form of transfer of the parking position toward the examination table, the parking position to the vertical bucky, a vertical bucky toward the examining table po- sition, and vertical bucky towards the parking position. The test results of simulation crea- ted is 8 seconds to move from the parking position to the position of the examination ta- ble, 38 seconds to move from the parking position to the vertical bucky.

Abstract

The increasing of using social media in Indonesia has the impact to the available of data about society perception toward many issues of life, even though it comes as member/personality of live and citizen in the society. These phenomena have given an opportunity for stakeholders, such as government and private that need information about the society perception or social attitudes in their social life to improve quality and quantity of information through the using of the social media. The well understanding about technology of internet, social media, databases, data structure, theories of information, data mining, machine learning, and the technique for visualization data and information are needed to get and analyze the data to determine certain information which will be used by the users (stakeholders of the information). The target of this research is to master technology of social media analytic and develop prototype of software that will be used as tools of collecting data in social media, therefore, the users of the data can focus to get comprehension/understanding about social phenomena and take decision without looking for techniques for collecting and data analysis issues. This research is designed into explanatory with focus to the understanding technology through basis of social media, moreover, it is used to review advantages and disadvantages of techniques currently used in social media and media analytic researches. The result of this research is the tools and framework that benefit for media social analysis.

Abstract

Agricultural sector is playing vital role in Indonesia economy, in which irrigation mechanism is of key concern. Water management have to do optimally, both of suitability of water distribution, supply water and saving water and electricity. These problems can be overcome by designing a water level system for irrigation the plants by using a micro- controller Arduino Uno R3 and SMS Gateway. The water level control system consists of a main control that uses microcontroller Arduino Uno R3 which will take the data sent by resitif sensors, temperature sensors and moisture soil sensors and then compare it with the correct values and the results will be sent via SMS using the GSM TC35i. As for out- put used of water pumps, solenoid valve and the value of the moistuse soil and tempera- ture sensors. From the test results are analyzed it can be concluded that the test was obtained power supply circuit output value of 13.6V DC. Testing the voltage divider circuit is divided into 3 output is 12V DC for the driver circuit, 9V DC to arduino, and 5V DC for TC35i. In the water reservoir when the height of 6.5cm below the resistance ranges from 200 to 400Ω and its output voltage reaches 0.3V. Error data on the LM35 temperature sensor of 0.2265625. For moisture soil sensors every 1% increase in soil moisture, the output voltage of 0,313V. In the test results of sending and receiving SMS takes time un- der 10 seconds.

Abstract

Godean area, is an isolated hills that’s occurs on Yogyakarta basin. Volcano occurences in Godean have issued by morphology, lithology and volcanic concepts. Volcanisme and magmatisme on Godean interpreted have similarity with Gajahmungkur – Wonogiri with hydrothermal event occurs. Lineanment Density Analysis used for interpretating the specific pattern, for strength the morphology and geological that have interpreted before. The methods that we used is combining of quantitative and qualitative. Geology of Godean consist of igneous and sedimentary rock with margins of Kulon Progo hill in western side. Caldera morphology, commonly have circular or a half circular pattern, with limited by steep relief. Morphology of Godean have caldera pattern, as a concept and compare with others. LD analysis are using image from slope directional angle processing on SRTM and ASRTER image, and then extract to lineament. Result of lineament extraction there are 9490 lines. Range of density with length from 0 to 9173,21 m/km2 with high value > 2375 m/km2 and count of lineament from 0 to 23 line/km2 with high value > 8 line/km2. Godean have high density with range of length 1930 – 2996 m/km2 or range of counts 9 – 12 line/km2. Base on the pattern, its looks the Godean and surrounding it differ on 3 major sectors, that’s outer rim, secondary rim, and circular of late central eruption. Diameter of this pattern is wide (8 – 15 km), that must be proven with others geological and geophysical subsurface research.

Abstract

E-Museum is a digital creative modifications to the museum into an electronic web-based museum that can be accessed via the internet. Utilization of information technology in preserving the culture of the area into one of the strategies in introducing and promoting the cultural wealth of Indonesia to the international world. Development of E-Museum songket into one creative step the nation can do to keep the local culture in South Sumatra that is not lost with age, because the e-museum as a medium of information dissemination museum. Utilization of Web 2.0 technologies, databases, and viewing multimedia displays to show the diversity of types, songket motifs and colors are needed to be able to produce e-museum informative and high art, so reducing the value cultural values ​​contained in the songket. The objective of this research is to build a prototype e-museum songket web-based and multimedia to provide clear information to Indonesian and international community about the local culture in South Sumatra in the form of songket. E-Museum will also be used as a means of preservation and promotion of local culture to the world internasinal South Sumatra. This research has produced a prototype that was developed using SDLC method.

Abstract

Research area is located at western part of Northeast Java Basin there are still many uncertainties concerning aspects of petroleum geochemistry.The oil and the source rock data from wells and seeps were tested according steranes data, and carbon isotope. The oil-oil correlation in the research area has divided the oil samples into two oil groups. The first oil group is the oil group in which the organic material comes from the mix of high plants and algae where the depositional environment of the source rock for this oil group is more headed for shallow marine (deltaic) environment. The second oil group is the oil group in which the organic material comes from more of the high plants where the depositional environment of the source rock for this oil group is more headed for terrestrial environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the impacts of environmental pollution of Ijen Crater water in Banyupahit watershed such as health and environmental impacts and to determine the quality of river water and springs in the Banyupahit waterspring, Kalianyar village, Sempol District, Bondowoso Regency, East Java Province. The method of this research conducted by the authors is a field study with direct observation in the field as well as library studies and related references related to the title of the seminar. Data analysis and discussion of this research using chemical analysis approach in the form of elements of pH, Clˉ, SO4ˉ and Fˉ taken on two water samples in the study area. The result of the research, it can be concluded that Banyupahit watershed is not feasible to be used because it has a very acidic water and exceeds the maximum permitted according to the standard of Water Quality Standard according to Government Regulation No. 82/2001 on Water Quality Management and Pollution Control Water Class 1. However, from the analysis on the sample of the springs it can be concluded that the springs downstream of the Banyupahit River can be used for clean water because it does not exceed the maximum quality limit in accordance with Ministry of Health Regulation No. 416/MENKES /PER/IX/1990. Based on the results of the research, it is expected that the people around do not use river water for purposes such as bathing, washing and drinking water consumption because this is very dangerous for health. While the environmental impact caused by acid water along the river basin of Banyupahit is in the form of non-living or not the development of animals around the river such as fish.

Abstract

An inefficient utilization of bamboo resulted in bamboo base as waste without economical value. Converted this bamboo waste becomes active carbon through pyrolysis will add more value of the product. This study aims to determine the parameters which influence the pyrolysis of bamboo waste, to determine the activity of the obtained active carbon and liquid smoke yield. The preparation of raw material was conducted by cutting the bamboo into the size of an average length of 4.33 cm, 1.43 cm wide, and 0.48 cm high, also analyzed the water content. Pyrolisis was done for 60 minutes in the range of temperature between 250°C to 450°C. Activation methods varied by soaking in diluted phosphoric acid solution (6-14%) prior to pyrolysis with variations in dipping time and temperature pyrolysis. Yield and reactifity of obtained active carbon and also yield of liquid smoke were analyzed. With 100 gram of raw material, 60 minutes of reaction time, and activation for 24 hr resulted in an optimum yield of active carbon 27,43% with reactivity 433,99 mg/g under 12% of phosphoric acid solution at 450°C, and the yield of liquid smoke was 54 mL. GC-MS results showed that acetic acid (30.33%) as a major component, while 2-propanone (14,34%), methanol (10,37%), 2-butanone (3,75%) acetaldehyde (3,59%), furfural (2,95%), corylon (2,21%), cyclopropyl carbinol (2,11%), phenol (2,1%), glycol (1,85%), dan carbonic acid (1,28%) as a minor component.
